Can I do it myself?
In a word . . . "maybe." If you have the time to invest, have a basic knowledge of HTML, FTP and CSS, you can reference the abundance of data on how to optimize your site. It does take a lot of time to learn the basics and some of the most crucial knowledge can only be learned through experience. We encourage you to do the research if you are interested.
